DESCRIPTION

A high jewelry necklace built on nine Sri Lankan sapphires matched for tone and cut—lavender and pink, totaling 45 carats—suspended in alternation along a diamond-set collar. Between them, hexagons, cubes and stepped tiles of 14 carats of diamonds hold red spinels and inlays of cerulean enamel, assembled in the geometric language of Art Deco: every element squared, repeated, and set at a rhythm rather than scattered. The architecture is what holds the color in place.
