Every Daniel Yu piece is made to order and handled with the same care in transit as it receives in the studio. Here's how delivery works.
Complimentary, fully insured shipping
Shipping is free on every order, worldwide. Each piece travels fully insured and signature-required via FedEx within the United States and DHL for international destinations. Your piece is insured for its full value from the moment it leaves our hands until it reaches yours.
When your piece ships
Because each commission is created individually, your piece ships once it's complete and final payment has been received. For bespoke work, your timeline is agreed at the start of your commission — typically around three months, depending on the design, stones, and finishing. For ready pieces, we dispatch within 3–5 business days. In every case, we'll email you tracking as soon as your piece is on its way.
Packaging
Your piece arrives in our signature packaging — a protective box and pouch, ready for gifting or safekeeping. For discreet deliveries (a surprise proposal, for example), just let us know and we'll plan the timing and packaging with you.
International orders
We ship worldwide. Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country are the recipient's responsibility and are not included in your order. We're glad to provide any documentation your customs authority requires.
Local collection
If you're in Los Angeles, you're always welcome to collect your piece in person at our studio by appointment — many clients prefer to see their finished commission for the first time with us.
Loss, theft & damage after delivery
Your piece is fully insured while in transit. For protection against loss, theft, or accidental damage once it's in your care, we recommend dedicated jewelry insurance and have partnered with Brite + Co to make it simple: app.brite.co/jeweler/danielyujewelry.
